I actually did see the first Dragonfly last week – a Ruby Whiteface (Leucorrhinia rubicunda), but this Downy Emerald (Cardulia aenena) is looking so muchg better in the blooming Bird cherry in my garden.

That is a beautiful dragnfly - we also had our first damsel and dragonflies during the warm weather last week. I had fun photographing them - see blog. Now it is colder and very windy here in England so no fliers today.
