Golden eagle fight

My first try in our own hide for Eagle photography was more than rewarding. Me and my son Max enjoyed an action packed 12 hours in the hide with 4 Golden Eagles, as many White-tails and an adult Goshawk showing briefly. Have a look at some totally unprocessed snapshots from one of several fights between Golden Eagles. Aren´t these birds impressive!?

Winter Great Grey Owl

It´s really not easy to see great grey owl in central Sweden in wintertime. this one appeared just at dusk last night but kept moving through the snowclad forest, offering just these grainy pictures in twilight but a little bit of magic.

100 + Pine Grosbeaks

Impressive it was, even for our Swedish standards...Over 100 Pine Grosbeaks where seen together yesterday, many good males too. A picture through telescope and smartphone on my facebook!

Waxwings

There are still some nice flocks of Waxwings around. Saw about 60-70 yesterday, feeding on apples in gardens.

Hawkie & Nuttie

Hawk owls and Nutcrackers always offer good fun and photo opportunities when around. Niclas Lignell had a good day in excellent light.

Action in the Eagle hide
